Arizona Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA)
We are a USPS certified Arizona CMRA. This means we are able to receive your personal and business mail directly from the Post Office on your behalf.
Our Arizona CMRA service is designed for entrepreneurs, frequent travelers, and growing companies who want real mail security with a reliable, professional business street address.
What is an Arizona CMRA?
An Arizona CMRA is a private business that provides mail receiving services on behalf of its clients. A CMRA can accept mail for both businesses and individuals.
Then, the CMRA makes your mail available to you in a few ways:
- Physical Mail Pickup: Your mail is held inside the CMRA building and placed inside its own little mailbox secured by lock and key
- Pro – Your mail is secured inside a locked mailbox in a locked building.
- Con – Access to your mail is limited by business hours, you need a key, and you need to drive or bus or cab it to pick up your mail.
- Autoship Physical Mail Forwarding: Your mail is saved, gathered, and sent to you periodically (once a week is typical)
- Pro – You get all your mail in one envelope.
- Con – You have to wait to get your mail, you have no idea what’s been waiting for your attention, you might be paying to have junk mail sent to you (#sadface).
- Digital Forwarding with Mail Scanning: Scanned images of your mail are uploaded to an encrypted private online account you can access 24/7
- Pro – You can see your mail as soon as it’s received on your phone or computer.
- Con – You won’t see any junk mail…could be a “con” if you like junk mail.
Basically, we’re your local reliable mail handler that gives you the freedom to stay current on all your mail, without the hassle of picking it up yourself.

What Do I Get With Arizona CMRA Service?
Here are some of the amazing things you get with an Arizona CMRA service:
- Privacy: Using your home address for business can put your privacy at risk. An Arizona CMRA address keeps your personal location confidential, protects you from unwanted visitors, and gives your business a more professional image.
- Security: Arizona CMRA service keeps your business mail organized and secure, so it never gets lost or mixed in with your personal mail. Your mail is handled safely and confidentially by authorized staff only.
- Professionalism: An Arizona CMRA address gives your business a polished, professional image more credible than a home address or P.O. Box. It’s perfect for startups, home businesses, freelancers, and individuals who value privacy and security.
- Stability: A CMRA address gives your business a stable, permanent mailing location. This is perfect for busy business owners who travel a lot, or for remote workers who are on the computer all day. You’ll never miss your mail, suffer constant address changes, or have to sacrifice your personal address privacy.
- Convenience: With Arizona CMRA service, all your mail is kept in one secure location. Business mail is kept separated from personal mail, and all the junk is filtered out for you. This is especially convenient if you have to manage more than one business location.

Arizona CMRA FAQs
Do I have to submit the Form 1583 to get Statutory Agent Service?
No, hiring us as your Arizona Statutory Agent does not require the Form 1583. As a state certified statutory agent, we are qualified to receive state business notices and legal mail on behalf of you and your business. That’s part of being a statutory agent. However, if you hire us for extra mail receiving services for all your mail, like our Virtual Office or Digital Mail Scanning service, this does require the Form 1583.
Do I need to get Form 1583 notarized?
CMRAs are allowed to verify a 1583 in place of the notary requirement, so we’ll handle the authentication of your form to make the sign up process super easy for you.
Can I use one Form 1583 for more than one business?
No, you will need to submit a Form 1583 for each business or individual using CMRA services.
Does a CMRA service accept mail from all mail services?
Yes! A CMRA service can accept mail from USPS, UPS, DHL, FedEx, and more!
Do CMRAs accept packages?
Some CMRAs do accept packages, but it’s up to each agency to decide to do so. At Arizona Statutory Agent, we do not accept packages. If you are having a package shipped to you, you will need to have it sent to a different address.
Can I use a CMRA if I don’t live in the USA and I’m not a US citizen?
Yes, non-US citizens who do not live in the USA can still use a CMRA, as long as the ID and proof of address requirements are met (see above). Non-US addresses are perfectly acceptable.
Can I use the same document for both ID and proof of address?
No, you will need to provide a picture ID and a separate document for proof of address.
